Groundbreaking for one of the most modern cyber defense centers

8com GmbH & Co. KG is one of the leading providers of cyber security services in Europe. Now the company is building one of the most modern cyber defense centers worldwide in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse as well as a research facility for artificial intelligence and machine learning for cyber defense. The groundbreaking ceremony for the ultra-modern facility took place on April 18, 2018 at 11:00 a.m.

One of the most modern cyber defense centers in the world is being built by HEBERGER in Neustadt an der Weinstrasse. The new 8com GmbH & Co. KG building will offer space for over 100 employees. Together with regional partners, several high-speed connections to the Internet backbones are being implemented. Interested representatives of the press cordially invited 8com to the groundbreaking of the new company headquarters. In addition to an overview of the diverse work and task areas of the Cyber Defense Center and the new research center, the guests also found company founder and IT security specialist Götz Schartner, who spoke about the challenges of cyber security today and in the future.
