A house as unusual as the country

HEBERGER has been developing and building in this region for many decades with its Abu Dhabi-based subsidiary. The country is in many ways a land of extremes.

The core of the city with its over 1. 5 million inhabitants is located on a 70 square kilometre island in the Persian Gulf. Due to its rapid growth since 1980, Abu Dhabi is one of the most modern cities in the world. Here we were allowed to build a private retreat for our client – for Central European eyes rather unusual in size and equipment. Also extreme: with an outside temperature of over 45 degrees Celsius in the summer months, the pool has to be cooled.
