Eichbaum Brewery invests a 2-digit million amount

30,000 square meters of storage space for around 15,000 pallet spaces on 13 levels will be created here. The go-ahead was given for an automatic shelf storage system on the brewery site on Käfertaler Straße.

So far, external storage space has been rented. With the new building, the private brewery not only saves costs for rent, but also for logistics in the journeys between production and warehouses, which in turn also benefits the neighbors. And the investment with the resulting modernisation and further development of the company is also a clear commitment to the location, Mannheim’s Lord Mayor was pleased to report.
