After three years of construction, a groundbreaking timber hybrid high-rise was built in Spinelli’s expansive park area on the Leonie-Ossowski-Promenade – directly adjacent to the BUGA (German Garden Show). The ten-story residential tower, with 68 modern rental apartments, an observation deck, and commercial space on the ground floor, combines innovative timber hybrid construction with sustainable greening. In the spirit of conscious use of natural resources and an optimized carbon footprint, the exterior walls are made of a timber structure with non-combustible cladding. Thanks to cleverly positioned facade offsets, a dynamic building structure is created, with greenery on all sides across all floors. The building represents forward-looking, sustainable, and social urban development – visible from afar in the urban space. Located directly on the redesigned promenade and the expansive open spaces of the BUGA (German Garden Show), it offers a perfect connection between nature and city life. Another highlight is the partially green communal roof terrace, which is open to all residents. In addition to the private loggias and terraces, it creates additional protected open space with impressive panoramic views over the BUGA grounds.
