Successfully building and developing with PZ Abu Dhabi
Polensky & Zoellner was founded in 1880 in Driesen, Germany. This was the era in which railway lines, riverbeds and inland ports were built. The company developed successfully in all areas of the construction business. Large bridges, tunnels, power stations, dams, shipyards, industrial plants and completed buildings demonstrated the technical competence and strength of Polensky & Zoellner.
In 1930 PZ went abroad with a new shipyard. The tunnel for the Grossglockner Pass in Austria was the first major project. After the Second World War, foreign activities began. PZ worked in Saudi Arabia, Oman, Libya, Brazil and last but not least in Abu Dhabi. PZ has been successfully operating in Abu Dhabi since 1977.
Activities in Abu Dhabi range from hospitals, high-rise buildings, palaces and special buildings. In March 1981 PZ was founded as a local company in Abu Dhabi. Since 1996, the Abu Dhabi site has been a company owned by HEBERGER GmbH.
