If your job application is rejected, the data transmitted by you will be deleted automatically two months after notification of the rejection. This does not apply if longer storage is necessary due to legal requirements (e. g. the duty of proof according to the General Equal Treatment Act) or if you have expressly agreed to longer storage in our database of interested parties.

Safety

We have taken technical and administrative security precautions to protect your personal data against loss, destruction, manipulation and unauthorized access. All our employees and service providers working for us are obliged to comply with the applicable data protection laws.

Whenever we collect and process personal information, it is encrypted before it is transmitted. This means that your data cannot be misused by third parties. Should our data protection officer not be able to answer your request to your satisfaction, you will always have the right to complain to the data protection supervisory authority responsible for your federal state.

According to the supervisory authorities, the website operator is obliged to implement a suitable opt-out procedure which meets the following requirements:

  • if an opt-out cookie is set, it should be a persistent HTML5 storage object with an unlimited validity period.
  • Session cookies or other persistent HTML cookies with a short validity period, on the other hand, are not suitable and therefore do not meet the legal requirements.
  • An opt-out procedure can be implemented by programming a few lines of Javascript code with little effort.
  • A reference to third-party websites (such as youronlinechoices. eu, Network Advertising Initiative) is not sufficient for an opt-out. After setting Opt-Out-Cookies via websites of such third parties, data traffic between the end device of the user and the advertising network continues to take place to the best of our knowledge. In addition, third-party websites usually contain JavaScript functions, which in turn enable tracking of an individual user. It is therefore unreasonable to expect the user to be referred to the service of a third party for an opt-out, which in turn processes the user’s data for its own purposes.
