New construction of a parking garage integrated into the landscape

The Ostalbkreis, represented by the Immobilien Kliniken Ostalb based in Aalen, intends to build a multi-storey car park with 246 parking spaces as the owner of the Ostalb-Klinikum in Aalen.

The car park cube, with a width of approx. 29 m, a length of 52.00 m, a height from EFH (451.74 m above sea level) of 11.70 m and a total height of 18.80 m, blends into the vegetation and tree population on the forest property in a landscape-friendly manner.

The construction and the design create a harmony between nature and the building complex of the Ostalb-Klinikum. The park building comprises 11 levels, which are connected to each other by ramps. The entrance and exit of the multi-storey car park will be connected to the existing Steinbeisstraße. The exterior area around the building is harmoniously adapted to the existing topography of the site. The contract is worth approximately EUR 4.8 million and is expected to be completed by April 2019.
