New production sector for Nestlé

Nestlé Health Science GmbH planned to invest a double-digit million amount in the Osthofen plant in view of the positive development in medical nutrition and dietary supplements. The new production area is scheduled to go into operation at the beginning of 2019.

Plant expansion began in October 2017. Over 50 new jobs will be created over the next two to three years at the site, which specialises in food for probes and superstructures. 330 people are currently employed at the Osthofen plant, 70 more than five years ago. “This investment is a clear commitment by Nestlé to Germany and in particular to the Osthofen plant.
