Look back: The large trading hall of the Frankfurt Stock Exchange shines in a new light

The Frankfurt trading hall was given a contemporary, clear appearance. The CI colors of Deutsche Börse, blue and white, as well as modern materials were used. The most obvious change on the newly laid, dark oak parquet was the new brokerage barrier. Five round and two semicircular barriers appeared as uniformly shining, auratic bodies that can be played with different lighting moods in blue or white.

The workstations in the brokerage barriers have been designed more ergonomically, offer more work space and represent a combined solution for sitting and standing workstations. The entire IT, telecommunications and climate infrastructure has been renewed and adapted to the changed needs of lead brokers. Each of the approximately 70 workstations now have up to six screens. Switchable glass, for lobby, curved glass fronts for brokerage barriers, glass fronts (with foil coating and logos) for wall cladding, various metal constructions, metal surface-coated for cladding the course indicator, coated wooden panels for furniture, LED treadmills (in the entrance area) integrated in the glass rear wall, integrated Illumination in the panel of the course indicator. Acrylic cover for lighting in the course display. Drywall / painting / stone work stairs were part of the work of our daughter Markstahler + Barth from Karlsruhe, which she implemented with flying colors and in the highest quality.
